Should I rent a restroom trailer or porta potties for my wedding?

A restroom trailer fits a wedding of 75–200 guests that has a standard outlet and garden hose nearby. Flushing porta potties with sinks fit a wedding under 75 guests or a site with no power. Many couples pair a 2-station trailer with 2 standard units for the busiest hour.

Does a wedding restroom trailer need power and water?

A restroom trailer needs a standard 120-volt, 20-amp outlet within 100 feet and a garden-hose water connection. Barns and venues usually have both. A ranch or field with neither can add a generator for $225 per day and a fresh-water tank for $150.

  • Share the outlet only with low-draw items. A DJ or catering warmer on the same circuit can trip it.
  • The trailer needs a level spot about 20 by 10 feet, plus a clear path for the truck and hitch.
  • Gravel or dry grass works. After heavy rain, a soft field may not hold the truck.

When should I book wedding restrooms in the Tulsa area?

Book a restroom trailer 2–4 weeks before the wedding, and 6–8 weeks before for April, May, September and October Saturdays. Standard and flushing units need 3–7 days for weekends. Date changes are free when the new date is open.

The trailer arrives the day before, is leveled, connected and tested, and leaves the next business day. A Saturday wedding gets Friday setup and Monday pickup. Planning the full day? See event porta potty rental for placement around tents and food.

Straight answers

Wedding restroom questions

These 5 answers start with the question renters ask first here: how many guests does a 2-station restroom trailer handle. Each answer gives the number or rule up front, then the conditions, so you can book without a second call.

How many guests does a 2-station restroom trailer handle?

A 2-station trailer has 2 private rooms and works well for about 75–100 guests on its own. For 150 guests, pair it with 2–3 standard units or move to a 3-station trailer.

Will a porta potty look out of place at a wedding?

A flushing unit with a sink, mirror and soap reads more like a restroom than a job site toilet. Set units behind a hedge or screen, add string lights, and keep a hand-wash station beside them.

Can the trailer be dropped off two days early for the rehearsal?

Trailer pricing covers up to 2 days. A Thursday drop for a Thursday rehearsal and Saturday wedding adds 1 extra day at $250. Standard units can arrive early at no charge.

Do restroom trailers have air conditioning?

Restroom trailers have climate control, which runs on the same outlet or generator. On a 95°F afternoon, the trailer stays far cooler than a standard unit in the sun.

Can I rent separate men's and women's restrooms?

Every restroom trailer has separate men's and women's rooms, and the 3-station trailer adds a urinal on the men's side. Standard units are shared and each has a seat and a urinal.
